Mrs Sally Bradbury (Staff Governor)
I wanted to become a school governor in order to help the school move from "Requires Improvement" to "Good".
I care passionately that every child should reach their full potential academically, but also about the whole self, with mental wellbeing at the fore of my concern. Having worked in school for over 10 years I feel I have gained some knowledge of how the curriculum and also interventions work.
I feel that education may take a different direction and impetus in the wake of the coronavirus, and I would like to be instrumental in helping to move us in this direction, whatever that may be.
I am well known in the local community and feel I would share our mission very well with the wider community.
I have current knowledge of running businesses and in the past, I was responsible for the book keeping and PAYE of a local insurance business and bakery. I have also been a volunteer on numerous committees including roles as treasurer, secretary and chairperson.
