English - Talk for Writing
We use talk for writing in English to teach writing, using various fiction and non-fiction texts. This process goes through several stages, enabling children to imitate the language they need for a particular topic orally, before reading and analysing it, and then writing their own version.
English - Reading
We use VIPERS in reading lessons and our current book is Tuesday by David Wiesner.
Please use this document when you read with your children at home.
This term, we are focusing number (addition and subtraction).
Project - What is the purpose of the arts?
This half term our topic is art and we will be looking at artists such as Georgia O'Keefe and Andy Warhol.
