UK Parliament Week was held in school from 2nd - 5th November, and we used this time to elect our school council members. They are currently asking their classes what they would like to improve in school and will use these views to shape action plans which each class will work on and feedback on progress in the spring and summer terms. UK Parliament Week gave the children the opportunity to learn about what parliament is, and debate questions such as “Should robots teach in school?” The children demonstrated lots of respect for other people’s opinions and enjoyed lively discussions.
