The back of the train was decorated with a beautiful poppy wreath made by our Y3 pupils, with the help of Mrs Butler, Mrs Wheal and Mrs Lofts.

Severn Trent Water Assembly
Mon 31 Oct 2022We would like to say a big thankyou to Leanne from Severn Trent Water, who came into school on Friday 21st October to talk to the children about drinking water, and how to reduce plastic waste so it does not get into our water supply.
If your child came home and shared their learning with you, we would be very grateful if you could complete this survey for Severn Trent: https://forms.office.com/r/NNkXppUU9q
Leanne's talk fitted in really well with our assemblies on respecting our environment.
After the holidays, our School Eco Warriors will be sharing our whole school action plans and what we are all planning to do to reduce plastic use at school and at home.

Of course there can only be one winner, and this year the winning house was Arkwright (the red team) with 198 points.
Thank you also to all the parents for coming along to support this event and to all the staff for helping us to run the event smoothly. Well done everyone!
