I have spent the majority of my working life in various roles in the construction industry. During the last 20 years this involved leading, growing and ultimately selling a consulting and contracting business delivering projects for the food and drink manufacturing industries.

When I recently stepped away from this, I wanted to become a more active member of the local community, making a difference and at the same time gaining a rewarding sense of satisfaction from being part of a small successful governing group.

I hope the experience I can bring from my working life will benefit the school, and perhaps bring new perspectives to some of the challenges the school is facing.

Born and raised in Hertfordshire, I have lived in Wirksworth since 2019, having relocated from elsewhere in the county. In my spare time I mostly enjoy cycling in the fantastic Derbyshire Dales.
