I moved to Wirksworth in 2007 when I became a Senior Practitioner in Children’s Social Work in Derbyshire.  Prior to returning to Social Work I had a career in community work, politics and local government scrutiny in London.

In 2016 my son Sèamus was born and as a family we love the life we have found here in the wonderful Derbyshire Dales. 

Becoming a Parent Governor is my way of putting something back into the community and school we share.  As a Parent Governor it is important to give representation to the schools children, their parents and carers.
