WJS achieves PSQM accreditation
Mon 04 Oct 2021We are really pleased to announce that the school has been awarded the Primary Science Quality Mark for 2021.
We will hold this award for three years and it shows that our school has been judged to demonstrate effective leadership of science, and high-quality planning and delivery of science at the school.
We are really proud of this award as it has been a whole school effort, from the leadership by Miss Booth, to the pupil science ambassadors in school, to you at home completing the science lessons/ challenges during remote learning.
Thanks for supporting us with this award and please do share that at Wirksworth Junior School we promote creative thinking through science.

Fri 01 Oct 2021Here at WJS we are promoting the importance of good table manners. Our Golden Eaters have been walking into dinner first and eating style at their own special golden table.
These children are chosen for having good manners in the school hall and eating well. Children are really enjoying this and trying hard to have good table manners.
