Dear Parents/Carers

You may like to know that on Tuesday 9th May 2017 the school was visited by a representative

of the LA to check our SATs administration procedures and compliance with the rules and

regulations of the examinations. This is an unannounced spot-check and can happen to any

school at any point in the exam season.

We are pleased to say that the procedures were checked and observed for a full morning and

all is well. This includes the secure storage arrangements, opening of papers and test

supervision as well as the bagging and sealing of the completed tests.

The pupils’ general demeanour and co-operation during the tests so far is fantastic.
