DCC Consultation on Local Primary Schools
Dear Parents/Carers
As you may be aware, there are proposals for two new housing developments in Wirksworth:
• Land off Middleton Road / Cromford Road
• Land at Middle Peak Quarry, Wirksworth
Derbyshire County Council is carrying out a consultation on the proposal for the establishment of a new primary school in relation to the above proposed developments, and the overall strategy for primary education in Wirksworth.
This will have a major impact on Wirksworth, and on YOUR children! We would encourage parents to make representation to the council, bearing in mind such issues as proposed locations for school(s), transport issues, ease of access to any proposed sites.
The consultation deadline is 17th December. Don't miss this opportunity to have your say!
